So you’re interested in investing time in yourself and your art practice, but what is it that Art School Hub actually does ? And will it facilitate your learning and growth as an artist?

At Art School Hub, we run classes tailored to children aged 8+, young adult, and adults. We run 10 week terms, and follow alongside the school term calendars. During the 10 weeks, we have a Curriculum centred around selected mediums. These mediums change from term to term and rotate throughout the year, so as a returning student you have the opportunity to access hands on experience to at least 10 different mediums. 

The classes start with looking at the fundamental uses for each medium, and will delve into specific techniques and approaches for a variety of styles and visual effects. As we are always furthering the education, no term is the same. You will always be brought new information,  new challenges, new references and new insights. 

Each student is provided with all necessary materials, including references. You are given the option to produce master copies (copies of fully rendered artworks) or to provide an original work (royalty free or personal images). We do ask that each student has their own journal, this is the only thing a student will need to purchase of their own. 

Each year, we aim to host a Student Exhibition to showcase the hard work and fantastic achievements of our students; both kids and adults alike. This means we balance the classes between learning and play, and teaching how to produce a finished work suitable for showing.
